The school was founded in September 1980 as Sinclair Gramm. School on Kirikiri Road. It was moved to several locations before it was finally brought to it present location on Osho Drive, Araromi -Apapa The Schools name was later changed to Ajeromi-Ifelodun High School by the SMB on 24/4/82. In January 2003, the school was splited to Ajeromi -Ifelodun Senior /Junior Schools in line with the 6-3-3-4 system of Education, Mr. M.A. Adesanya was redeployed to head the Junior School while Mrs. F.W Okunoye because the Principal of the Senior School .
