About Baze University
Baze University is a private tertiary institution located in Abuja, Nigeria. It was established in 2011. And it offers basic standard education. Many Nigerian Politicians bagged their degrees from the same university.
Interestingly, the university was established in 2011. And it received its provisional license from the National Universities Commission (NUC) on the 7th of March of the same year.
Academic activities commenced with staff and 17 students all in one building on the site of its 50,000 sqm campus.
Construction of the Administrative Block, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Computing & Applied Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences soon followed.
However, in 2021, construction of the University Teaching Hospital commenced and was expected to be completed in the same year. Already, there exists:
- A Library complex.
- Staff Housing Complex.
- The students’ Hostel consists of 2 Blocks for males and females. And this is with a capacity for 500 students each.
The University has had six consecutive Convocation Ceremonies. And has produced graduates in various disciplines.

Depending on the student’s payment preference, the tuition fee can either be paid per semester or per academic year.
If the student chooses the per semester payment method but is unable to provide the complete required funds, he or she can pay in instalments.
However, complete payment of tuition is required before the commencement of the exam period.

The tuition cost is subject to revisions by the Senate of the university. This tuition change can be a result of economic situations in the country.
Also, it can result from the introduction of new systems that will lead to a more efficient learning environment.
