The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is currently accepting applications from students who want to enroll for the 2022–2023 academic year.
Only applicants with a minimum UTME score of 170 and who selected UNILAG as their first or second choice institution or who are seeking a change of institution to the University of Lagos through JAMB are eligible to apply for admission.
UNILAG Post UTME Requirements 2022
This section will inform those applicants about the UNILAG Post UTME Screening requirements and the documents they need to bring with them to the screening exercise as so many applicants to UNILAG are still unaware of the requirements for UNILAG Post UTME.
Candidates whose admission has been conditionally approved on the JAMB Admission Status portal must appear for screening at the University of Lagos in order to complete the admissions process.
You must provide your JAMB UTME Registration Number, WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB Results, JAMB Admission Letter, Color Passport Photo, and UNILAG Online Registration Printout.
To find out the location and time of your departmental screening exercise, consult the UNILAG screening timetable. To avoid being rejected, please make sure you arrive on time at the Post-UTME screening location. Candidates who didn’t make the first round of screening may be subject to a second round.

The Post-UTME Screening will therefore be held by UNILAG when? The screening period for the UNILAG Post-UTME is from August 22 to August 26, 2022. Check www.unilag.edu.ng for the location and time of your departmental screening.

How to Apply for UNILAG Post UTME
The school management has made the screening application lot easier than what was obtainable before. With the introduction of the new UNILAG portal, you can now register your post UTME form all by yourself.
▸ First log to the university of Lagos post UTME portal @ http://www.unilag.edu.ng
▸ On the homepage of the UNILAG portal click on admission.
▸ Next you can on Post-UTME Application
▸ You will be required to log in using your username and password ( an instruction has been given on the UNILAG portal for all candidates to use lowercase when choosing the password)
▸ The next step will require you to generate an invoice on UNILAG post-UTME portal.
▸ Find any commercial bank to pay the sum of 2000 as written on the printout.
▸ You need to come back to the portal after paying at the bank.
▸ Login to confirm and validate your payment.
▸ Next you need to upload a recent passport of yours.
▸ Fill in all necessary details on the UNILAG portal, and cross-check all your details before submitting.
▸ Please don’t ever pay money to anyone or website online claiming to be selling post utme forms or giving out admission to aspirants
▸ Please disregard anyone claiming to be an agent of any institution in Nigeria claiming to have direct access to the admission unit, universities do not admit candidates through any online agent.
UNILAG 2022/2023 Post UTME Requirements for Registration
For admission to the University of Lagos’ undergraduate programs during the academic year 2022–2023, applications are being accepted from applicants who meet the necessary qualifications.
To be eligible to apply for admission, a student must select the University of Lagos as their top school option in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieve the minimum JAMB cut-off score. The institution’s UNILAG cutoff score for admission is 200.
Candidates must also receive a minimum of FIVE CREDIT passes in all pertinent disciplines, including English and mathematics, in no more than two sittings. However, not every course offered by UNILAG requires math credit.
All prospective students are urged to properly follow the rules and seek out any required clarifications. Additionally, applicants who choose not to take part in the Post-UTME screening process will not be taken into consideration for admission.
Candidates Eligible to Apply for UNILAG Post UTME Form
▸ Candidates who are less than sixteen (16) years of age are not eligible and need not apply.
▸ Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
▸ Candidates who made the University of Lagos their first choice in the 2022/2023 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for the screening.
▸ Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
▸ Any student expelled from the University cannot be offered fresh admission.
▸ The University has zero tolerance for drug abuse, and any student found wanting will be penalized.
▸ All aspiring students are advised to adhere strictly to the guidelines and obtain necessary clarifications.
▸ Candidates are requested to please note that the Screening Exercise is as scheduled in the screening exercise slip they printed out after their Online registration.
▸ The scheduled date, time, and venue shall be indicated on the test slip. Consideration will not be given to candidates who fail to take the screening test on the scheduled date and time.
▸ All candidates for the screening exercise are required to stick to the examination dates on the test slip printed out during the online registration.
