About Ford Internships
Ford summer internship program has given students in all majors and with all career aspirations an exciting and satisfying learning experience for over 40 years.
This internship places a strong emphasis on developing skills and navigating the subtleties of working in a professional setting.
Its goal is to introduce students to the workings of philanthropy and civil society.
They developed the program to help students in the greater NYC area who could be eligible for the best internships but may not afford the usually unpaid opportunity.
We recruit academically and socially driven students from public and private schools who are prepared to dedicate themselves to a full-time job experience for the duration of the program.
We also offer competitive remuneration.
Interns at the Ford Foundation take part in teams and collaborate with experts in grant-making and operations.
Department-specific assignments might vary, but typically involve supporting administrative, analytical, research, and special projects.
All-staff events and weekly learning sessions for interns alone are open to them.
These sessions include meetings with senior foundation personnel and provide an opportunity to learn business etiquette, develop networking skills, and talk about career planning.
They get chances for networking and professional growth that result in deep connections with the foundation staff.
